Pending Transactions reported with incorrect Payee Information

This recently started and not sure if it is just with Classic Premier for Windows Version R63.21 Build 27.1.63.21; but many of the Pending Transactions for various credit cards are showing with an incorrect Payee name. They show the name of other previously paid , Payee Names. When I go to the credit card site such as Citi or CapitalOne, I can see the correct Payee names listed under the Pending Transaction section of the account.

This is extremely annoying. Can we get this fixed?

    @epete I suspect this may be a bank issue, in my case both Chase and Bank of America send pending transactions with their Payee names , but these names should match your credit card actual bill. I go back if I need and change the Payee name in Quicken, which is a pain.

    Can you give examples of what these original Payee Names are being changed into?

    I suspect an incorrect Renaming Rule might have been created by mistake … find the incorrect Renaming Rule and delete it.

    If you are using the setting to "Automatically apply Quicken's suggested name to payee" in Edit / Preferences / Downloaded Transactions uncheck the setting and see if that improves future transaction downloads.
