Quicken (somewhat) discount at Sam's Club

Well, Sam's Club offering Quicken Classic Deluxe (Windows & Mac) for $59.88 (One Year Subscription). Don't know how long this will last? Free shipping for $50.00 or more for Plus Members, so this qualifies. Sam's Club shoppers also get a 5% discount on any item if you have and use your Sam's Plus Card. Price good for any Sam's Club member as for as I can see, but read fine print to be sure. So that should lower price to around $56.88, plus tax of course.

    If you miss this one, start looking in late January for deals in all the usual retailer's websites. This is because Quicken allows you update no more than 6 months in advance, and most users switched to the subscription in July, the month when Quicken first went to the subscription model. You'll usually find a deal only good for a week or two, similar to this one. Because many people start their New Year's resolution to be better with finances (and their upcoming taxes), the start of January also offers few Quicken deals.

    You definitely won't see any deals in the June/July time frame, as the reminders from Quicken begin and start to re-enroll users.

    Just thought of this. One caveat to mention about Sam's Club Plus Mastercard. IF I remember correctly, (could be updated though with new policy. Haven't checked lately). Sam's Club Plus Mastercard only gives the full 5% discount IF Quicken purchase is in-store. Only get 3% discount if purchased online and mailed to customer.
