Citi Private Bank - Investments: Error 16503

For the past three days, I've been unable to update these accounts, getting error code 16503. The Channel is OFX, the server message is HTTP-400 Error from Citi Private Bank - Investments, and the connection is Direct Connect FI.

Does anyone know what is going on?

Thanks.

    Hello @NotTechnical,

Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. If you haven't already done so, I recommend that you start troubleshooting this issue by following these steps from our article on Error 16503:

Make sure that your account settings in Quicken match the services currently provided by your financial institution. To do so:

    1. Open the register for the affected account.
    2. Click the Settings button in the bottom right corner.  image.png
    3. In the Account Settings screen, click Bill Pay. image.png
    4. In the Bill Pay tab, review if the Bank Bill Pay status is set to On. If you don't have Bill Pay enabled with your bank, but the status in Quicken is On, you will need to turn it off.

Please let me know how it goes!

@Quicken Kristina, thanks for responding. When I click on Settings in the bottom right, I get the Account Settings screen in your step 3, but it doesn't have the "Bill Pay" tab (it only has the other three tabs). This is probably because these are investment accounts, not bank accounts, so Bill Pay probably isn't even an option for these accounts.

    Any other suggestions/advice?

    Thanks!

    Thank you for your reply,

Since the accounts are connected via Direct Connect, and the troubleshooting provided did not resolve the issue, the next step is to contact the financial institution directly for assistance.

    Thank you!
