Workaround Fix - for recent Aug 2025 Elan Financial Services issues
Deactivate one step update for account. DO NOT USE - Set Up Now option, Instead ..
Choose From Top Menu Bar, Tools, Add Account .. Elan and set up that way, it should send you a 2-factor SMS code maybe twice to validate and then it should be set up for a few more months to work hopefully.
This procedure is similar to what was needed with Vanguard also recently this month.
Not sure if the "Set Up Now" functionality is broken completely or only with some accounts.

Reconnecting via Tools > Add Account is generally more reliable than using the Set Up Now option because it establishes a fresh connection from scratch, which helps avoid lingering errors or conflicts in the One Step Update process. This makes it more likely the account will sync successfully.
