Converting to Quicken for Mac

I did not receive the emails from the individuals that wrote me on converting Quicken for Windows to Mac Quicken

I need to download Parallels since I have some old Windows software I want to run .

I did purchase a Mac Air and have NOT purchased Parallels .

The question I have since I am new to Mac I have been a Windows user of 35 years , if I purchase Parallels and Mac does not have USB port , only Thunderbolt ports , I want to transfer my Quicken for Windows data to the Apple Mac

Assume others have done this in the past . Question how did you perform this task and did the data transfer successfully ?

    Hello @jjrichards,

    Thank you for reaching out!

First, since you said you did not receive the email on how to convert from Quicken for Windows to Quicken for Mac, here is the link to the article:

To answer your question about moving your Quicken file to another computer when the devices do not support the same media, our help article recommends using a USB Drive or a shared folder. Warning: If you use a shared folder via a cloud service like OneDrive, iCloud, or Dropbox, please make sure to copy the file directly onto your local hard drive before opening it.

    I hope this helps!

Those Thunderbolt ports on your Mac are also USB-C ports. You can get inexpensive USB thumb drives that have both USB-A and USB-C connectors that you can use to move files between just about any computers.

    Hi Jon:

Thank you for the response. Do you use Quicken for Mac or use Parells to run Quicken for Windows ?
