I resolved this issue by doing the following:

  1. Backed up the QDF that was having the problem.
  2. Open Quicken to the QDF that was having the problem.
  3. Added a new security with the proper Ticker Symbol.
  4. Went to the "Download Center" in Vanguard Holdings Screen on Vanguard.com.
  5. Check-marked the account that was having the issue, and told it to download 1 month of transactions.
  6. It prompted me to save or download the QFX. I saved it.
  7. Double-clicked on the downloaded QFX. It told me I had no new transactions, but my balances were updated.
  8. After I closed the above dialogue box, Quicken brought me to the "Match Security Screen"
  9. I matched it with the security I added in step 3 above.
  10. It matched the security.
  11. When I went to the online center holdings, the proper security I added in step 3 was shown with the proper name I created in step 3.
  12. When I went to holdings and said "Compare to Portfolio", it said my Quicken Account and Brokerage Holdings are in agreement.
  13. Did a full One-Step Update and all was well.
