Fidelity: Fidelity Puritan Capital Gains Long transaction came as Deposit in Quicken
Unfortunately, I didn't think to do a problem report on this, but an Oct 10, 2025, Fidelity Puritan long term capital gains transaction posted as a deposit in Quicken. I edited the transaction to correct.

Hello @CaveCreek,
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Unfortunately, once the transactions have been manually edited, we can no longer verify the issue in the logs.
If you run into anymore coming in this way, go to Help>Report a problem>Send to Quicken. Then contact Quicken Support directly so they can take a look at the logs and investigate further.
Thank you!

This happended to me too. I think this is a bug unique to FPURX (and FBALX, and perhaps a few other Fidelity branded funds) that has been exacerbated by the new EWC+. Unlike other Fidelity funds, which have always downloaded as 1 Div/ReInv transaction, these 2 funds have in the past often come down as 2 txns - Div or CG and Buy. For some reason, the Div/CG txns have been coming down as Deposits. I just edit them to change to the appropriate label.

Hello @mrzookie,
Thank you for adding to this discussion and letting others know what works for you.
If this is a continual issue, I suggest going to Help>Report a problem>Send to Quicken, from within your Quicken software next time it happens. That sends your log files to Quicken. Then you will want to contact Quicken Support directly so they can take a look at those logs and investigate further.
Hope this helps!

Curious, because a CGLong that I received on 10/14, in both my IRA and my wife's, came in properly.

This also happened to me for multiple transactions in multiple Fidelity accounts for both Fidelity Puritan and Fidelity Balanced. I have reported the problem to Quicken.
