Fidelity EWC+ does not seem to add accounts that have linked cash accounts

I reauthorized access to Quicken with Fidelity. Quicken reported a successful reauthorization, but the investment account that has a linked cash account shows it never was set up in the Online tab for the Account Details. Quicken will not set it up.

it appears that the account link setup pop up tries to incorrectly tries to connect the linked cash account name instead of the investment account. The connection link never occurs and quicken displays no errors.

I had to revert the linked cash to just an investment account for quicken to connect the account.

    Hello @leishirsute,

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm glad to hear that you found a work around, but it is still strange that you were unable to link the account until you turned off the linked cash account. Were you able to enable the linked cash account again after connecting the account? If so, has it been updating properly?

I look forward to your response!

I was able to recreate the linked cash account. I think it is updating correctly but will need to wait for some transactions to download to verify. I submitted a problem report for the issue.

I noticed that when the linked cash account existed and I tried to reconnect to Fidelity, Quicken tried to connect the cash register , MySmartCash-cash, instead of the investment account, MySmartCash, and although Quicken behaved as if the reconnect was successful. The investment account, MySmartCash, was never connected. I had to eliminate the existence of the MySmartCash-cash register in order for Quicken to only have MySmartCash investment account to connect. That reconnected successfully.

So Quicken is choosing the wrong account, the cash portion, when trying to connect an investment account that has a linked cash portion.
