has Fidelity DC been shut off completely now?
Tried to pull transactions this morning. Connection fails. First a Red dot, then green for the connection.
OFX log looks like the ofx bids have been shut off. Sigh. Given the continued issues on EWC+, this seems premature.

NO, DC has not been completely shut-off. I still use DC to download from US Bank into 2 checking accounts and a credit card.
NOTE, that it's the banks/cards/etc that determine what download method into Q they choose to support … so it's somewhat unlikely that Q could shut-off the entire process as long as the FIs still support it.

@John QW I also have not been able to download Fidelity transactions via DC connection since about Wednesday 10/15/2025 (approximate date based only on my memory). When I attempt to perform a zzz-Fidelity - DC update I get a red message "An error has occurred". However on those days (except today Saturday 10/18/2025) my EWC+ Quicken file downloaded some transactions. Today, Saturday 10/18/2025, some transactions should have been downloaded because a few transactions occurred on Friday, but nothing was downloaded using either DC or EWC+.
I would hope Quicken and Fidelity are routinely communicating any significant changes they are making with regards to this transition. I'm also concerned about the value the Quicken subscription provides me. The majority of my transactions occur at Fidelity; the EWC+ online updates require significant manual effort to add missing transactions and fix errors, and now the reliable DC connection method does not appear to work.
Quicken Classic Deluxe; Ver R64.30, Build 27.1.64.30; Windows 11 Home – Quicken user since the Windows 3 version
Currently I'm performing daily backups on Quicken files and maintaining 2 identical files, one using the old DC connection method and the other the new EWC+ connection method. I'm doing this to identify and potentially debug issues with online updates.

I had the same problem and error. I talked to both Fidelity and Quicken. Unfortunately quicken told me that my file had got corrupt. They also have told me that DC support has ended. Even though quicken website still says that decision was extended. I did not really believe this to be the case. The solution they took me through is horrible. They had me export everything out and then import it into a new file. This fix the problem. But created so many other problems. I lost 13 reports. All my budgets. All my custom views and when it imported things back, it updated the memo line incorrectly. It also duplicated transactions in Fidelity. It’s been a nightmare. So I would caution to fix. Even though with the error, you have you can’t update your Fidelity accounts.

I believe the question was about Fidelity and Direct Connect, not just if Direct Connect is still available for some financial institutions.
As for the original question looking at this entry in the FIDIR.TXT file:
10482 10482 10482 zzz-Fidelity NetBenefits https://nb.fidelity.com/public/nbpreloginnav/spa/fidelitywork/core/home 800-581-5800 https://nb.fidelity.com/static/mybenefits/netbenefitslogin/#/login ACTIVE INVESTMENT,401K&DIRECT NOT_QBP NA
The zzz- indicates that they are in the process of getting rid of this, but the rest of the line indicates that it is still active "ACTIVE INVESTMENT,401K&DIRECT".

So why the error, very specifically, that the bid is invalid? I think my last successful connect was Tuesday of this week (10/14/25)… and I didn't try again until today (Saturday)… with BID not recognized.

I’m not sure exactly where the problem lies. The BID is the financial institution Id (the first number in this entry in the FIDIR.TXT file.

I was looking through some of the old threads for this error and I believe was causes it is the financial institution is rejecting the connection.

Well, if Fidelity shut off DC there will probably be more complaints coming in.
I'm getting the nag to re-auth all the fidelity connections (including the zzzz-Fidelity DC connection) which I've been 'next time'-ing on every try.

Past couple of days I haven't been getting the reauth nag, I've been getting forced into the reauthorization path. I get a "Quicken Classic uses Intuit to connect…" window, which has a Continue button, and a greyed-out Back button. Fortunately that window has an "X" in the upper right that I use to abort the process.
I think I'll just continue to abort this until around the 3rd of the month, and then I'll try to get someone from Fidelity familiar with Quicken on the phone when I reauth and download. so they can either help me through the problems, or at least understand why I'll be transfering all of my investments away from Fidelity to a system that works.

Still no go for me.. same behavior and both Fidelity BIDs refused with
OfxSecurePlus request denied due to unmapped bid
.Anyone else still have the zzzz-Fidelity NetBenefits DC connection working? Otherwise I guess its the end of the line.

My last successful DC download from Fidelity was 10/15, and from Elan for the Fidelity CC 10/17.

So I tried the transition today. I have a 401k and an HSA account with Fidelity, both were under Fidelity Net Benefits and Direct connect (zzz-)
Post reauthorization and transition to EWC+ , both accounts show as "Fidelity Investments" for the provider (not Net Benefits ). Is that expected for this transition or not? Can anyone comment here who has converted a Netbenefits over to EWC+ already?
Post transition, no transactions download from the HSA account . The HSA has two uncleared cash deposits from auto-paycheck deductions and show in the fidelity website view. I tried a few times, and I tried to reset the account. They did not come along.
On the 401k side, transactions downloaded. There was a set of duplicates all from my last DC download. And multiple transactions had 'unknown security', even though they are known (and these were all mutual fund purchases for existing holdings). I manually fixed those with the proper securities.. although makes me wonder if they are going to be that way next time around also (unknown). That 'mostly' fixed me… although Ive got a mismatch on reconcile shares… even though the security name and symbol match quicken shows the entries in mismatch has shares as 0 in quicken, and full at the online, the other has shares full in quicken, 0 at online. quicken shows same security symbol and name.. and I've manually opened all the transactions to make sure they are the same, name, security, ticker. My "Holdings" view for the security only shows that one security, and all lots are underneath it. I've seen this before but usually its when there's multiple similar tickers with different names from the various accounts.

I converted early last week. I only have 2 401Ks at Fidelity from past employers (no contributions or distributions). First I checked on Fidelity's website to verify there were no pending transactions and holdings matched in each security. Note, if you go Fildeity.com, it may ask if you want to stay on Fidelity or go to Netbenefits. I suggest you do both since the UIs differ.
Next, I backed up my datafile. Then deactivated both Fidelity accounts. Went through the motions to reauthorize, linked to existing accounts and waited until the sync completed. I had a bunch of dupes but since I verified everything was current before, I deleted them all. I did get the security mismatch. On one, I clicked the wrong security (names were close) so I had a new security and it threw off everything.
I restored from backup and tried again. This time getting the securities correct. It seemed to work. Everything matches. I've had no transactions occur yet (dividends or fees) so I have no clue about what they may look like. If there's an issue, I'll manually correct it. If it's bad, I'll disconnect Fidelity and just manually input them.
And yes, the EWC+ connection says Fidelity Investments.

Yeah I backed up before hand and did a similar conversion. the 401k seems ok-ish. For the HSA, the contributions flow into the sweep account, which is just a money market. In the account while on DC connection, this just showed up as cash, and interest deposits were made as they accrued.
I know people had a lot of issues with cash-like short term funds etc. And this is not a named fund, and I was not prompted for any kind of cash treatment options. But I wonder if this is also not considered/accounted for in the new EWC+. I don't (yet) have any actual investment transactions in the HSA… so I guess thats possible. if those don't come in, I guess I can try disabling and re-enabling download on the HSA.0 -
Ahh, well I missed this post:
https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7967098/10-13-25-no-transactions-for-fidelity-hsa-accounts#latest
So HSA accounts don't work (at all) yet.I was able to straighten out my 401k share balances… I don't know if it was from the conversion to EWC+ or not (but it first manifested here)… but I found there was a duplicate CUSIP between two different funds in the Fidelity account.. One fund's CUSIP was overwritten with another, so two funds had same cusip. The fund that was out of whack was not one of these ..but I have seen this from quicken before on a cusip duplicate… the matching rules go haywire and produce things like this. I corrected and the remaining balance issues snapped back inline.

Follow up on my previous post from the 27th (also discussed in other threads). Quicken must have gotten into the Halloween spirit as it's been pretty nightmarish the past few days.
First came the CC-501s errors, the the CC-800 errors, then several reauthorization with downloaded transactions that were dupes, un/mismatched securities, even a few "phantoms". Dupes were relatively easy to ID since their dates where months ago. The no security ones took some effort to match the transaction in Quicken to those in Fidelity. The "Phantoms" were dated recently (mid-early Oct) in the Quicken download and had no security listed. No such transaction by date was listed in Fidelity. I had to go back through months of transactions just to verify it wasn't a missed transaction from the conversion to EWC+, a dupe I overlooked, or a transaction I thought was a dupe and deleted. Since I could ID it, I deleted it.
So after matching what I could, deleting the dupes and phantoms, I finally got the holdings in each account to match.
I hope this is not the "new normal".
