Fidelity Investments updates
I am still having problems with Fidelity Investment updates. Cash entries were being posted to "Fidelity Government Cash Reserves" but they now go there and to an account that simply shows up as "Cash" so my total balance is being inflated by all current cash transactions. The Cash account does not show any detail and cannot be edited manually. I am on Version 7.4.2 for Mac. I cannot update to a newer version because Apple will now longer update macOS on my computer (a 2013 model which is now considered a dinosaur). Is there anything that can be done?

Hello @jpc3,
Thank you for reaching out! The issue you describe sounds a lot like the problem identified in the announcement linked below:
If you haven't already done so, please try following these instructions from the announcement and test to see if the issue is resolved:
- The Money Market security will disappear automatically and be set to cash. Customers whose cash balance is incorrect should perform a reconciliation with the online balance and enter an adjustment to correct the cash balance. From that point on, you will be good to go.
Please let me know how it goes!

Kristina, I think I have it resolved but I have to wait for another transaction to hit cash to make sure.

Fidelity has three "core" positions that are cash and on fidelity site are reported as cash balance. the three options are SPAXX, FZFXX, and FDRXX.
The accounts where I have SPAXX as the core position are reporting the cash correct and I can balance to the online balance.
The accounts where I have FZFXX and FDRXX as the core position are reporting the cash as 0 and I CANNOT balance to the online balance. I periodically manually balance these accounts.
@Quicken Kristina do you ever see FZFXX and FDRXX being fixed by quicken or fidelity to again correctly reflect the online balance to report these holdings as cash?

Thank you for the follow-up,
I'm glad to hear it seems to be resolved.
Hello @Brad L Vandermoon,
Our teams are aware of the issue and are working with Fidelity to resolve it. We do not have an ETA.
Thank you!
