Replace mid term capital gains with qualified dividends
Surely it is time in the income form to get rid of the mid term capital gains box and replace it with qualified dividends. Mid term capital gains was a thing for five months more than thirty years ago, and if anythng should be "miscellaneous" that is one. Qualified dividends have been with us for a while and are now permanent, so it shouldn't be that we need to do that workaround anymore.

Thanks. I've added the upvote. I've sent it in as a product suggestion several times before.
