How to add solo 401k account off line (manually)

I am using the current PC version of Windows Classic (version R64.35). Quicken HELP indicates that I should see an option to add a 401k account, but my popup window doesn't include that type of account.. See attached screenshots. Is 401k supposed to be visable or is this a Quicken bug / oversight?

In your 1st graphic, under Investing, 401(k) is the second item listed.

The screen shot you're referring to is directly from the Quicken Help when you search for "Add account" and scroll down to "Add an offline account". My options, shown in the 2nd screen grab, only includes "Banking" and "Cash". Mine DOES NOT show the view in the Quicken Help article graphic "Investing and Retirement" (which includes the 401K) nor does it show "Loan and Debt".

What does your show when you select "Add Account" and then the "Offline Account and Cash" tab? Does it show 401K???

Do you have the Starter edition?

If so, it doesn't have support for investment or loan accounts. You will need the Deluxe edition or above to get investment and loan account support.

Thanks for that info. You'd think Quicken could have included that info in thier HELP. Scheeze. Much appreciated.
