Are there any Quicken Check Pay restrictions or limitations?

I use Quicken Classic Business & Personal for Windows (USA).

I'm going to be writing several sizable checks in the near future and would like to use Quicken Check Pay.

Are there any limits to the dollar amount that a Quicken Check Pay check may be drafted for? Are there any limits to the total dollar amount that all checks drafted on the same date mat total to?

I do have enough checks allotted to be able to make the payments I intend to make. I'm just concerned about dollar amounts and if there are any system restrictions.

    Thank you for reaching out. I would recommend testing with one of the larger checks first, just to be on the safe side. You're more likely to run into limits on your bank's side (for example, if they have limits on checks issued by a 3rd party on your behalf) or on the biller's side (for instance, some don't allow overpayment or requirement payment by card for transactions over a certain $ amount) than you are to hit any upper limit on our end. It's also a good idea to have a backup payment method handy, just in case there are problems. Most banks allow you to make payments through their own bill pay service. Many billers also accept payments through their websites or over the phone.

    Hello Kristina-

    Thanks. I will check with the bank to see if they might have any issues with an online generated check such as those generated through Quicken.

    That said, assuming that there are no issues at the bank, I'm taking it from your message that there are no restrictions on the Quicken side. If I were to write a several hundred thousand dollar Quicken Check Pay check the Quicken system will issue and mail the check. Please confirm.
