Quicken is not downloading and reporting fund sales
I have a tax deferred account at Fidelity (a Quicken account). Each month there is automatic sales of various fund shares in Fidelity account. Previously, Quicken reported the various fund sales and as they did not report the withdrawal to my checking account, I had to manually reduce the cash in the Quicken account. Starting 3 months ago Quicken now shows a cash withdrawal for the amount of the various sales but does not report the fund sales. Thus, I have to now manually record the sales in Quicken to reduce the shares of the funds held to match Fidelity. What happened? Is Fidelity or Quicken going to fix this issue.

Fidelity started a migration from Direct Connect to Express Web Connect+ back on 7/29 with a hard cut-in that occurred in October. When this occurred it changed how the Core Position MMF is reported in Quicken. I'm guessing that the fund you are referring to is a Core Position MMF. Most commonly the Core Position MMF is SPAXX or FDRXX but there are a few others that can be selected.
What is the MMF you are referring to?
Is it the Core Position MMF for your Fidelity account? (You can confirm this by logging into your online account and clicking on the Positions tab. The first listing in there will be Core Position. Click on that and you will then see what the ticker for that MMF is.)

To Boatmaniac. That is exactly the problem I am running into. My core position at Fidelity is SPAXX. Prior to the October 8 cutoff the "interest/dividend" showed up, not in the check registry for my Cash Management Account but in the companion "investment" account. I had to accept the upload in my companion "investment" account for the cash to show up in the cash account. As of October 8, the transaction shows up in my companion "investment" account when I upload, however, when I accept the transaction it shows a balance in the "cash" position of the investment account.
I have seen various suggestions to play with the box that says "never interpret money market funds as cash" but nothing happens to my balance in my checking account.
I only use Quicken to manage my checking account. Right now it is about as valuable as a brick.

@t3523wd@yahoo.com - There were many issues realized when Fidelity migrated from DC to EWC+. This Support Article lists most (not all) of them. Many of these issues are either now resolved or much improved but there still some that are still quite troublesome troublesome.: UPDATED 10/28/25 Fidelity Updates .
There is an item in this list of issues that sounds like it might be pertinent to the issue you are experiencing.:
Linked Cash Accounts Not Updating or Downloading– Reported by a few customers; support escalation may be required.Have you reported this to Quicken? If not, you might want to go to Help > Report a Problem and submit a report about to them. The Quicken team does review reports that are submitted and the more who report a problem the more likely it becomes a priority for them to fix it.
