Old investment accounts not on Accounts list (including hidden) still show up on my One Step Update

I am getting a "Your Financial Institution Needs an Update" error for these three accounts (all from the same institution) every time I run One Step Update. I have no other active or hidden accounts at this institution. This has been happening for at least a month.

Running Quicken on Window subscription version R65.17, build 25.1.65.17.

    Hello @WillyC3,

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Definitely a strange thing you are seeing. I have some follow-up questions for you.

    • Do you use Quicken Mobile & Web?
    • Where is your data file located?
    • Is your file being backed up/synced with any third-party services like OneDrive, Carbonite, or Dropbox?

One thing we can try is validating your file. To do this:

    1. Save a backup.
    2. Go to File.
    3. Select Validate and Repair file… Validate and Repair 2.png
    4. Check the first box for Validate file.
    5. Click Ok.

Once the validation has completed, it will produce a report of anything it has found/corrected. After this, try updating your accounts, and let me know if you still see that financial institution listed.

    Thank you.
