On download, categories are reassigned and memos are removed

    Please stop reassigning categories and removing my memo fields. I enter my receipts and track the items I spent money on and the categories. It is a nightmare each time I download the monthly expenditures from the bank and credit cards.

    I've been using Quicken since 2013. In the last year, this has been creating more work for me, and I am seriously thinking of stopping my subscription to Quicken Classic because of this extra work created by the automatic reassignment of Categories and Memo fields.

    Quicken, fix this bug, and stop reassigning my categories and memo fields.

    Thank you for reaching out! To help troubleshoot, please provide more information. You mentioned this has been happening in the last year. Did this issue start about a year ago? If not, when did you first notice it?

    What is changing? For instance, are transactions that used to download properly now coming in with different/wrong categories and missing the memo? Is this happening with transactions you had manually entered in your register, and if so, is this happening when a downloaded transaction matches to that entry? Is this happening when a downloaded transaction matches to a reminder?

    How are the categories changing? For instance, are they changing to something that's so wrong as to be nonsensical?
