Missing Cussip ID
I may have originally posted in the incorrect area: Home› Quicken Classic for Windows› Download, Add/Update Accounts (Windows)
So I am also adding it here. Dont hate me.
I have one mutual fund that Quicken will not download. The symbol is STEW and it is from SRH Holdings. The name of the mutual fund is SRH Total Return Fund and I believe it is a closed end and SRH Holdings reports the cussip ID to be 10150711 on their website.
The thing that sent me down this rabbit hole is the Comparison Mismatch. There are two lines in this screen and both have the same security name, probably because I changed the name in Quicken to match what is being reported to Quicken, but that did not help.
The first line says I have xx shares of SRH TOTAL RETURN FD INC COM in Quicken and 0 in the shares reported column
The second line uses the same name SRH TOTAL RETURN FD INC COM and reports xx shares and 0 in Quicken. When I look at the details with this additional piece of info "The share balance from NetXInvestor did not change but -1 transactions were deleted from Quicken."
Another interesting entry is:
12/19/25 Shares reported and shares in quicken are the exact same.
12/20/25 Shares reported in XX and shares in Quicken are 0
I can not get this fund to download and have tried deleted the purchase in the portfolio and security list and adding it back several times, but it will never associate a cussip id with the fund and therefore no downloads.
I am on Windows 11 machine and am using Quicken Classic Premier version R65.17 and build 27.1.65.17.
I recently opened an adviser managed account with NetxInvestor (Park Ave Securites) and as I think back from my first download this weekend, this particular stock may have come across as unidentified and I changed it to the correct name. Not totally sure because I was reviewing many new stock/fund issues that morning.
It seems like in my simple world that if we could somehow save this cussip in the stock details all would be right with the world.
As an update, this afternoon STEW did update to today's closing, but the share mismatch still is in the register

I stumbled on how to fix my problem. Turns out I had some shares in another account from the same broker that came across with a different symbol, but the same cussip id. Those shares we also incorrectly identified but had the correct cussip, so I used that to entry to rename everything.
