Vanguard: One Step Update reports "Securities Comparison Mismatch"
When I perform a One Step Update, I receive a message "The following holdings in Quicken do not match the holdings reported by your financial institution". Specifically, the issue appears to have a problem with Vanguard Global Minimum Volatility Fund Investor Shares vs. Vanguard Global Minimum Volatility Fund Admiral Shares. My shares in Quicken accurately reflect the shares in my Vanguard account. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

People experience that sort of mismatch all too often. Typically, the fund held in the brokerage has been not been matched to a fund in in your Quicken list, or is matched to the wrong fund. I would:
- Edit the security details for the security in Quicken that the brokerage holding should be matching.
- Uncheck (if applicable) the box that says it is matched with an online security
- Likely, I would shorten then name to something like Vanguard Global Min Vol Adm.
- If that security does not exist in your Quicken file, create it manually with the correct ticker
After those steps, you should be able to access from the account transaction list the option to Reconcile Shares and then get the correct match.
Post back with more specific details if you need further help or clarification.
