Tracking Computershare Accounts

Computershare manages every stock holding as separate, individual accounts. Is there any workaround in Quicken to create an umbrella account and then download all the individual accounts into the umbrella account? Apologies if this question has been asked before, but I can't seem to find any way around this limitation. Thank you, Colin

I don't believe there is any workaround here if Computershare does create individual accounts for different securities. "Manual entries" to a single Quicken Account is the only thing that comes to mind.

Echoing @Tom Young. Q should always mirror reality. If Computershare creates a different account for every security, you should do the same thing in Q.

Computershare goes by several names in Q, but all 3 appear to support Express Web Connect (+), so by setting up the separate accounts you'd be able to download into each.

Yes, unfortunately Computershare does create a separate "Holder Account Number" for each security. On their site, they aggregate all the separate securities under one login, but unfortunately the only way to mirror this aggregate view is to manually enter the transactions to a single Quicken account, as Tom Young suggests.

Couldn’t you create a Portfolio view that lists the Computer Share accounts?
