Quicken Compatibility between Windows 10 and Windows 11 - Part 2

The original discussion of this title was closed, but I seem to be having the same problem, reopening as a new discussion. I have Quicken Classic, now R65.29. Like @Tom Young, I'm not having success smoothly switching between Windows 10 and Windows 11 by means of a backup file. I used to do this with ease when both devices were Windows 10, creating a backup of one, restoring that backup into the second Windows 10 device.

Having one new Windows 11 device, upon restoring a backup from the Windows 10 device finds that the online services for those which aren't Direct Connect become "broken." I'd be OK with it, if I just had to fix them once. However, fixing one account on the Win11 device, the online services for that account were then "broken" on the Win10 device even though I never restored a backup into the Win10 device.

It seems that the secure token that supports something like Express Web Connect+ is valid only to a single operating system, and that only one secure token exists per account. That is, fixing on Win11 overwrites the token that was good for Win10, and vice versa.

If this is true, that I can no longer swap between Win10 and Win11 without having to repeatedly fix online services, I can deal with that until I'm only using Win11 on both devices. It would be helpful to me, and others, to know that we're not going to find an elegant workaround.
