In response to your email, this issue continues to occur. I attempted to reply per your request, but the email bounced, and as the above issue was closed, I am opening a new one. I have uploaded new screenshots today via Report a Problem. However, this is becoming exceedingly frustrating, as it has been ongoing for over a year. It's just not acceptable for an accounting system to incorrectly process an online balance and DEDUCT pending transactions. Furthermore, this only occurs on this specific Citi credit card account - I have several others which do not have this issue. As this is my primary daily use card, I am constantly having to manually reconcile it due to this issue. Please have your team contact me directly to discuss and resolve. In the example below, the actual, correct online balance is $5693.99.

    I have an update for you.

    Long story short:
    - Some time ago (more than a year), there were issues with Citi connections
    - The only way I could connect to this account was via a separate connection from my other Citi accounts
    - I used "Costco Anywhere Visa Card by Citi" as the connection (vs. just "Citi Cards" for my other accounts)
    - This past week, I had to restore my Quicken file from a recent backup (due to an error I made, not related to Citi)
    - That forced me to set up many of my bank connections again (BTW - what a pain!)
    - All of my Citi accounts were connected using the same connection method, including the Citi Costco Visa
    - I had my first new transaction download today, and despite having some pending transactions, the online balance matches and the transactions reconciled correctly

    This may resolve the issue, but I'll continue to monitor. If it does, it may be that the issue is specific to that one connection method. That may help your developers to research it further - and may help others, since it's a very obvious item to select when setting up a Citi Costco Visa card.

    Example below of setting up a new account in Quicken - search for "Citi" and the Costco Anywhere Visa Card is shown separately. However just choosing "Citi Cards" now seems to work for this account/card.

    Hello,

    And…I take it all back. Still having the same issue. My register balance in Quicken matches the online balance at Citi.com, but the "Online Balance" in Quicken is still deducting pending transactions. ARGH!!!
