    Hello @SrTrekker,

    Thanks for bringing this up!

    It's possible the email address you mentioned might be a legitimate Wells Fargo alert domain, but it’s still smart to be cautious. The key thing here is that the message doesn’t ask you to click links, reply, or take action.

    That said, to be on the safe side, we recommend:

    • Do not click any links or reply to the email
    • Log directly into your Wells Fargo account (using the normal online banking URL or app) and confirm whether the payment shows as posted or pending
    • If you want absolute confirmation, Wells Fargo support can verify whether the notice came from them

    If you do see anything unexpected in Quicken, let us know, and we can help take a closer look.

    Thank you!

    I suspect that it is valid for a number of reasons. However, interestingly, nobody at WF can confirm the sent email. One person at WF with whom I spoke, said that he had at least one other call on this issue. I suspect that WF does not wish to admit to its staff that it had operational issues 3 months ago.

    @SrTrekker Thanks for following up!

    Since you've done your due diligence and confirmed there's no immediate action required, we would just recommend keeping an eye on your register for any delayed activity.

    Thank you for sharing those details!
