Can you add a new account intent?
So there is personal, business and rental property. Can you add a new category? I am trying to keep my minor children's accounts separately from mine and separately for each child. Right now I have the intent set to personal and the account display to keep separate. But all the children are together. I would like to have a total for each child separately. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Each taxing entity should be in a separate Quicken data file, your children's financial information should not be in the same file with your information.
No need for an additional account intent for this purpose.

Unfortunately there is no way to create additional account groups, but there is an active Idea post on this.
Please review, comment, and vote on the Idea. To vote, go to the first post in the discussion and click on the little up arrow below the vote count in the big yellow box at the bottom of the post. If the discussion extends to more than one page, go to page 1 to find the original post. When you have voted, the arrow will turn gray and the vote count will increase by one. If the count decreases, it means you have already voted. Click once more to re-register your vote.
It takes about 50 votes for an Idea to be considered for implementation. Adding a comment will move the Idea to the top of the list, where it will get more visibility. As Ideas move through the review process, their Status next to the vote count changes.

Let me add that these are minor children. For now they have custodian accounts so I need to keep them in our data file, I just want to separate them by child.

@beta4210 , As mentioned by others, your requested feature is not available regardless of your situation - if you want them separate, you need to create separate data files. You can create as many data files as you like.
However there are many users who like the idea. So please go to the post mentioned above (Create account groups) and do two things: In the very first post in page 1, click the gray box to upvote it. Then at the bottom of page 2, add your comment. It is important to vote for it and see the vote count increment (currently 34 votes) since about 50 votes it will go into the "Under Consideration" state. Without our votes nothing will happen.

If you want to group the kids' accounts, you can give them easily distinguishable names, like Alice Custodial and Bob Custodial, and save reports customized for each child.
Also Quicken's tax tracking does not really address Kiddie Tax issues, so it might be better to have a different Quicken file for each child even though it may be a little less convenient. When my children were young, they each had their own Quicken file. The files eventually tracked their custodial accounts, Roth IRAs, savings bonds, and other assets. If those accounts were in your file, it would be difficult to separate them off when the kids get older.
