How to I add bank a opening balance catgory to a bank account
I deleted the opening balance in error. How can I recreate

Just enter a transaction of the appropriate amount and date using the account's name as the Category in square brackets, such as [checking]. Then, mark that transaction as Reconciled.
Look at one of your other accounts for an example.
