Corporate Action for Astrozenica (Q Mac)
I just recently converted from Windows Quicken to Mac and I am completely mistified on how Quicken for Mac is handling corporate actions. Astrozenica recently went from Nasdaq to NYSE. Quicken seems to have put several entries under the category "Payment/Deposit" on my Schwab account. The result is I have two portfolio entries, one for the original astrozenica but with the new symbol. The other is the new symbol, but with a missing cost basis.
How is Quicken doing this without indicating some kind of corporate action or add/remove shares? What do I do to straighten this mess out?

Hello @beneisenstein,
Thank you for reaching out! Unfortunately, unlike Quicken for Windows, Quicken for Mac does not have built-in corporate actions. Instead, people use Buy/Sell transactions (which will impact the cash balance) or Add/Remove Shares transactions (which do not impact the cash balance).
To provide more specific guidance, we need more detail on the corporate actions that occurred and what you're seeing in your Quicken register versus on Schwab's website.
There is an Idea Post asking for this functionality to be added to Quicken for Mac:
Please add your vote and a comment. Ideas that get enough votes may be implemented in the future!
I hope this helps!
