Awaiting Next Bill
I like others in the thread am experiencing the same issue with bills having a "Quick Pay" identifier and continue to say "awaiting next bill". My primary use of Quicken Classic Deluxe is to manage the timely payment of my bills in one application. If my due dates and amounts are not systemically updated, I have to go in and monitor my payees separately. I have now gone in and changed my bills to manual bills, with a ballpark minimum payment amount each month. This is defeating the purpose of using this program. I don't need the Quick Pay option - all I need is to know the amount due on my bills, and the day the payment is due, and I need it done automatically - I will handle the payment myself. Is there a way to make this happen?

Thank you for sharing your experience and for reporting the issues you are encountering.
The issue you are experiencing has been escalated internally and is still being addressed. If you would like to contribute to the investigation, you can do so by going to Help>Report a problem>Send to Quicken and sending in your log files.
If you send them in, please let us know so we can add you to the escalation ticket.
To answer your question, no, there is no other way to have your bills update the amount due without making them online bills. And with online bills, you may see "Awaiting Next Bill" until this issue is resolved. I apologize for the inconvenience.

@Alyssa I'm having the same problem. I tried to upload a bug report, and Quicken said that I was trying to attach too many log files. Instead of giving me the option to deselect some, it just dropped me from the help/report a problem window. One more way this buggy and poorly designed program wastes my time... 😞
I finally sent a subset of my log files that seemed to be relevant. Please add me to the ticket.

I used to use CheckFree to pay all my bills. It went away so I went to Quicken Classic. It constantly say Awaiting Bill Reminder in the Bill section but if I do the One Step Update the results show the bill amount so obviously they are connected in some way shape or form. What is interesting is if you hover over the "Awaiting Next Bill Area it tells you the "last ignored bill" without the amount due!
The only thing I really use the program for is for Quick Pay and Check Pay and it is certainly not user friendly. I too have tried to report the issue with logs with no success

I also am having the 'awaiting new bill' and have for months. I called a couple weeks ago and they were NOT able to correct the issue. I have been a Quicken user for over 20 years but the bugs seems to get worse and worse ugh!

Quicken Online Billers has become more trouble than it's worth. In the time since this issue has been acknowledged, someone could have recoded the entire interface.
I can just see their engineering team all huddled in a mud hut in Pakistan or India with no direction. I needed someone on the Quickbooks Enterprise help one time and when I called, I got a foreigner woman on the phone and I could barely hear hear through the accent and the roosters crowing in the background. Do better Intuit. Do better.

When was the last time the biller module worked properly? Answer - Before Quicken converted to their new biller provider. I am beginning to doubt that Quicken will ever have a working biller feature.

I don't want to jinx it, but I had an American Express biller populate today in a timely manner from the end of my billing cycle. This was the first time since Quicken changed biller providers. I will withhold any joyful glee until I see a pattern of success with my other credit cards. We have waited far too long for this to be corrected…..
