Synching Quicken on web with two different computers
I use quicken on my desktop computer at home and on my laptop when I travel.
I recently learned that transferring the file via a backup restore to a different computer requires that all links to financial institutions be re-activated after the restore, a cumbersome process.
Instead, I would like to know if I do the update on the web version, can I synch it with either computer?

Hello @marc,
Thank you for reaching out! You can use Quicken on the Web to view and update your data from both computers. However, to clarify, Quicken on the Web does not allow you to sync Quicken data between two separate files on your computers.
The way it works is you pick one file to be the "master" file. Sync that one with the Quicken Cloud. For more information on the cloud, please review this article: .
Once that file is synced, you will be able to view it and make limited updates from any device that can access Quicken on the Web. For more information on Quicken on the Web, please review this FAQ:
I hope this helps!
