I have Quicken Classic for Mac. A number of months ago, transaction detail stopped displaying the original foreign currency amount. It now only show the converted amount in our home currency, which makes it extremely difficult to review transactions. What happened?

I'm seeing the same issue in Windows if I use an older quicken file. If I create a brand new quicken file and create a domestic currency checking account and a foreign currency checking account, the Banking/Transactions report will show the current domestic currency value for both accounts by default or it will show the foreign currency when I select Other / Currency: <Foreign Currency>. In my particular case I'm using USD as the domestic currency and EUR as the foreign currency.

FYI, I submitted a separate topic in the Quicken Windows section here:

FYI I found a work-around for this issue in the Quicken Classic Windows version. I'm not sure if this will help with Quicken Classic Mac. The work-around is described in

For this it is important not to mix Quicken Windows and Quicken Mac discussions, in fact, you might get tripped up if you even talk about Quicken Windows US and Quicken Windows Canadian.

They all have different levels of multiple currency support.
