Periodically, downloading from Schwab and bank accounts stops working [Edited]

Periodically, Quicken stops downloading from certain Schwab accounts and bank accounts. It's a pain to go back and relink the accounts over and over again. It's really getting tiresome. Is there a permanent fix? [Edited - Readability/Removed - Rant]

    welcome to the club. I have dealt with these repeated download issues over the years (disconnectiong all accounts, signing out of Quicken, deleting bank information from the Account Edit screen, reconnecting again, I have 32 active downloading accounts - I have it all memorized) and lately there seem to have been many security improvements regarding downloads and not everyone is on the same timeframe. As of lately all of my downloads have been very stable this year. Quicken eventually gets around to fixing these but they don't really communicate their progress very well and we dont even know if they are activly working on a solution. Good luck giving up on Quicken, there is not a comparable product out there at this time. Its a love/hate relationship at times. But I am happy with the product and its presentation (even with its many bugs in the reporting area)

    Thank you for letting us know you're seeing these issues. To help troubleshoot, please provide more information:

    • When did you first notice this issue?
    • How often is this happening?
      • It is normal for financial institutions to need you to reverify periodically, but it shouldn't be more frequently than every 90 days.
    • Which financial institutions is this happening with?
    • Do you see any error messages/codes?
      • If not, what behavior do you see when the problem happens?
