Register report balance is WAY off from actual register balance
I'm a long-time Quicken user. Out of the blue, when I ran my memorized report showing the balance statement, 2 of my bank balances were off by triple digits or more. When I go to the register, it is correct. I ran a file validation, but it didn't correct the problem. Any ideas?

Thank you for coming to the Community to report the issues you are having.
I have some follow-up questions for you:
- How long has this issue been happening?
- Is this a saved report you are running?
- Have you tried running a new report?
- Does the same thing happen there?
- Have you tried running a new report?
- Were there any significant changes/events around the time this began?
- Like Quicken updates, Windows updates, computer crashes, etc?
- Where is your data file located?
- You can see this by going to File and looking toward the bottom of the menu. The first file listed is the one you are currently in. The file location will be shown there, and that is what we are looking for.
- Is your file being synced/backed up by any third-party services like OneDrive, Dropbox, or Carbonite?
Additionally, screenshots of the discrepancies you are seeing may be helpful. If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
