Please alert to need for reauthorization
(Quicken Classic R66.23) I have posted several times, as have others, that when downloads fail because authorization has expired, Quicken does not alert the user. Often the loss of authorization can go on for weeks before I notice that there have been no downloads and the account must be "reset." Yet, One Step Update appears to successfully download all accounts! Why can't Quicken notify the user that the authorization is no longer functioning and that no transactions have been downloaded?

Hello @mkalman115,
Thanks for your post! The reason Quicken doesn’t always alert users when an authorization expires is that Quicken only knows the token has expired if the financial institution sends an error code. If the financial institution doesn’t send one, Quicken can’t detect the expiration and therefore can’t notify you.
For cases where the financial institution does send an error, we have guidance in this support article.
Hope this helps!
