Issues with Quicken - Transactions vanish, crashing, sync issues [Edited]
Hi all -
I'm really not here to rant but honestly looking for solutions from someone at Quicken. I just paid our annual fee of over $150 for this very buggy software. I feel like I'm getting taken advantage of every year, but this year especially. There are SO many bugs in this software that I really don't know where to start. I've pasted the rating below, but really just want solutions Quicken - please make this better!! Get in touch with me or get a real support person on a Zoom/Teams call with me to fix this overpriced whale that, at one time, was a great financial solution!

Here is my review on Trust Pilot:
Quicken used to be the best personal finance software made - without question. That changed a number of years ago after the sale from Intuit in 2016. Since then it has been a downward spiral for years.
It is constantly deleting transactions that were at one time reconciled and then causes headaches when we try to reconcile the next time. It is not consistent syncing with our financial providers like Schwab. They say it is fixed, but it never seems to be. Its crashed multiple times where it loses everything I've entered for that session. Finally, the mobile app is clunky and the sync never seems to be correct. Whenever any of these things happen, I just say to my wife that we've been "Quickened" and she understands why my hair is missing.
The bad thing is, we've used it so long, that we have become reliant on many of the features that only Quicken seems to have. I've searched high and low for other products that can do everything that we've become reliant on, so we really cannot change. Therefore, we stay with this floundering whale. Hopefully, some software company who has a good design and QA team will buy them and make it good again.
If you are just staring out and looking for a new system, don't even bother!! If you are like us and have to put up with it, I'm sure we can start a support group! I gave it two stars because it is actually somewhat usable, but it was a real stretch.

- When did these issues start?
- Did they all start at the same time?
- If not, approximately when did each issue start?
- Do you keep your Quicken file directly on your local hard drive?
- Is your Quicken file synced with any cloud service, such as OneDrive, iCloud, or Dropbox?
- Is there anything that reliably triggers one or more of these issues?
