Add a new account choice

Users will be better served if a new account category is created for "Bank Credit Cards". They are not banking as consumers know it, which is checking and savings accounts.

What operational advantage would this provide?

And what is the difference between "Bank Credit Cards" and the "Credit Cards" type that already exists?

I have only "Banking," "Investing," and "Separate". If there is a way to add credit cards to my choices, it is not obvious to me and I don't know where to begin.

If I understand correctly, you are talking about organizing and summarizing accounts in the Accounts Sidebar and perhaps other reports and views.

There currently is an optional setting for the Accounts Sidebar. When enabled you can get a pop-up view showing subgroup account totals within each major group Banking, Investment, etc.

I'm not at my PC right now. So I'm going by memory…

Access the Sidebar settings to enable pop-up view and/or another setting to show subgroup totals within the Sidebar.

IIRC, this is a fairly recent addition.

I disagree with the premise of this idea. Credit cards are issued by BANKS.

Even if the card is "co-branded", such as my American Airlines Mastercard, or a department store card, it's a bank that issued it … not the airline or the department store.
