Schwab Downloads - Short sales downloaded as deposits & Cover shorts as buys [Edited]

Thank you for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been experiencing this issue.

To help us better understand and narrow down the cause, I have a few questions:

• What type of investment accounts are showing this behavior?
• Is this occurring only with Charles Schwab accounts, or are other financial institutions affected as well?
• Have you had a chance to test the accounts in a new (test) file?

If you haven’t already, I would greatly appreciate it if you could try reproducing the issue in a new test file. This helps determine whether the behavior is file-specific and will not affect your current working file.

To create a test file:

• Go to File > New Quicken File
• Select New Quicken File, then click OK
• Enter a name for the file and click Save (avoid using special characters such as * ? < > | " : \ / and do not add the .qdf extension)
• Sign in with your Quicken ID (if prompted to create one, select Sign In instead)
• Choose whether to enable Mobile
• Click Add Account to begin adding your accounts

Once you’ve completed these steps, please let me know how it goes. I’ll be happy to assist further based on your results.
