It seems that you might think it is a "rant" on my part of expressing "your customers" frustration with events that seem to occur every time a financial instituion changes their secure connection, but given how many long time customers (I have been using Quicken for over 20 plus years) depend on the Quicken for their daily transactions, it would make sense for Quicken to respond to its customer base with some type of license extension given that your customers have to pay for a yearly license just to have the inability to use the software for so long. I do not believe it is an unreasonable request. If you feel that this is a "rant," then I apologize for being honest with my opinion as loyal long time customer and you can truly remove this "rant" comment.

I am sorry to say I too will have to cancel Quicken due to the problems with Golden 1 credit union.

Reach out to Quicken support and request an extension on your renewal date. They may well elect to give you a compensatory adjustment for the downtime caused by this issue with your credit union. While 'cancelling Quicken' seems to punish Intuit, the reality is we the end-user are giving up the convenience of Quicken and the many benefits of the product. There is a link to Quicken support in this thread, and you can chat-in with them and make your request. Depending on the product a 'free' month of Quicken is worth around 8 to 9 dollars. Golden 1 is projecting a fix no later than May 2026 from what I've read in these forums. While I concur this seems like an awfully long time, Golden 1 claims to have a 'fix' for this and are testing it as we speak AFAIK.

I can not believe in this day and age that Golden 1 is taking so long to fix what is considered basic banking.

RSM2000: Just FYI….Intuit sold off the Quicken division to "H.I.G. Capitol" in 2016, and H.I.G. sold it to "Aquline Capitol Partners" in 2021 (both are "Private Equity"). That is part of the problem…Quicken still uses Intuit to facilitate bank/credit union download connections so any "fix" has to be coordinated between 3 entities…the last time this happened it took 5 months for a fix…May is very optimistic. I am personally looking to get a checking account/CC at a bigger bank that has more "influence with Intuit/Quicken" and IT resources than Golden 1 especially since G1 spent $10 million on a basketball arena sponsorship and then they stopped their annual dividend check pay-out to members and dropped their MM Savings Acct. interest rates way down to BofA or Wells Fargo levels.

Can anybody download and import CD's from Golden 1 (I can get Checking and Savings ok but not CD's??) .—- still trying to struggle though all this as we wait for Golden 1 and Quicken to figure this all out… ay e looking for bigger bank like Brian..

I wouldn't be surprised if CD's aren't manually importing correctly. I have an auto loan and HELOC through them also, and neither was importing and matching right, so I gave up on them since it's the daily churn of the checking account I was most concerned about. FWIW for others, export transactions as Quicken from the Golden 1 main accounts page is working well enough that I haven't been horrible irritated by this any longer. I'm still looking forward to it being fixed because it'll save me a good amount of time, but it's…functional.

I had this same problem as christinaund… so lost the history of the old account(saved it in my list) , and had to use the new account moving forward for updating via the import…. Still have not mastered Brian's method…. Waiting "impatiently" for the "FIX" if and when Golden 1 gets their act together….

As of today Golden 1 still says May…but not if beginning, middle or end. I told them I have been a member since early 90s and actively looking for a new bank

This is precisely my issue - I can export 5 other G1 accounts, but the CD absolutely DOES NOT export to .QFX Quicken file (or if it does, it does not IMPORT into Quicken when your double-click on the .QFX data file you created from the Golden 1 website. True, there are normally only 1 or 2 transactions a month (Monthly Dividend and annual RMD are the 'typical' CD transactions for IRAs and normal CDs would typically be only 1 transaction per month). Thus it is not an overwhelming burden to manually enter the data into Quicken.

FYI, Golden 1 is way too big to 'care' if they lose a few members over this issue. If you're really unhappy, you are free to write a letter to their President & CEO.

Great news! Golden 1 informed me via secure message that ALL Certificates (CD's) are now properly exporting to .QFX Quicken data file. I created a new 'blank' Quicken test file, and exported all transactions from March 1 thru April 15. Then I double clicked on the QFX test file I just created and boom! All of my accounts including IRA CD imported accurately! FYI. Effective date of this is 15 April 2026.
