Quicken Classic Deluxe Windows to Mac

Hello,

I'm trying to convert my Quicken Classic Deluxe file from Windows to Mac and nothing is pulling over. The file is just over 2GB so from what I see that is too large but if it doesn't bring over the attachments I wouldn't see that being the issue.

I've tried using both the backup and actual QDF file and neither works.

Does anyone have the current directions on how to convert this? Or is it better to convert it to a web version and then do it that way?

I've been tracking my data since 2019 and I don't want to lose what I have.

Quicken Kristina recently posted instructions in this thread, it should be the same for Deluxe as for Premier:

Are you getting any kind of error message or does it seem to run normally & then nothing shows up in Quicken Mac?

    nothing is pulling over

Can you describe how you are doing the conversion, and what you are seeing; it's not clear exactly what is or isn't happening.

There is no "web version". I'm guessing you mean the sync with Quicken Cloud from Quicken Windows, that is definitely not a viable conversion path. First, Quicken Mac and Quicken Windows use different datasets in Quicken Cloud. Second, you can't start from a Quicken Cloud dataset and use it to create a new desktop data file. And third, Quicken Cloud stores a subset of your data, so you would definitely lose data even if it were possible.
