Any Updates on the ability to download the Walmart/Synchrony OnePay card to Quicken?

All of the previous threads on this topic have been closed. I canceled my OnePay card because of its inability to download to Quicken but would get it again if it could play nice. Can it download (or upload?) to Quicken yet?

    Hello @PAUser,

    Thank you for posing this question!

    The issue was escalated, and our team determined that the problem is on the provider's end. The last update was that they were/are collaborating with the provider to resolve it. However, they do not have an ETA for when it will be resolved.

    In the meantime, users can periodically try adding their account. Some users found success adding these accounts with various Synchrony instances in Quicken. There is currently no instance for this card specifically in Quicken.

    Hope this helps!

    I just looked this morning and no instance yet. I'm near the cancelation point as well. I'm watching this thread now. Thanks to PAuser for asking.

    @Brian McDonald,

    Thank you for chiming in!

    It can't hurt to contact Synchrony to get a status update on this from their side. Maybe they will be able to provide some more insight on this for us.

    Thanks again!

    OnePay just sent an email:

    You asked, we listened!

    You can now link your OnePay CashRewards Card to your favorite budgeting apps like [Removed-Third Party Software]

    Any chance that this applies to Quicken as well?

    @kklarson,

    Thank you for adding to this discussion!

    Unfortunately, it does not apply to Quicken at this time. Hopefully, they are working on adding Quicken to that list!

    Thanks for sharing!

    FYI, I was able to get OnePay to be added to Quicken. It's configured for Express Web Connect.

    I had spoken with a Synchrony customer rep when discussing my Sam's Club Mastercard (also uses Synchrony). He was able to see that I had an OnePay card so he added it to the Synchrony Account Manager. Now I can see 2 credit cards, Sam's Club and OnePay in their website.

    By adding a new Quicken account using Financial Institution: Sam's Club Personal Credit Account. It will sync with Synchrony and pull down both credit cards. Not yet sure if new transactions will be pulled in, the OnePay account only has an Opening Balance equal to my balance. I'm not able to "Download and Import transactions" since Synchrony only provides pdf statements, not QFX or CSV files. So this solution may be half-baked.

    But anyway if you want to at least see the OnePay being created in Quicken (you can manually add transactions), do the following

    • call Synchrony customer rep and asked for OnePay account to be added to Account Manager.
    • add new Quicken Account using Financial Institution: Sam's Club Personal Credit Account.

    I was able to get my OnePay card transactions to download to Quicken by logging into my synchrony account for another synchrony card I hold, then adding the OnePay card to synchrony manager (see attachment). Then I was able to add both accounts to Quicken. But that's not the end of the story; It stopped working at the end of last week. I've tried unsuccessfully to get it back by deleting both and add them back. Now I can't add either card to Quicken.

    I called OnePay/Synchrony Tech Support and they tell me OnePay is officially unsupported for use with Quicken. The "agent" I spoke with was unaware of any plans to make it work with Quicken. Very disappointing and I certainly do not understand why they would not support Quicken since it is so widely used! I'll keep an eye on this and if anyone comes up with an answer I would sure like to know.

    Hello everyone,

    Thank you for contributing to the discussion.

    I’m glad to hear that some of you have been able to add this card. I wanted to provide some additional context here.

    At this time, only users who already have other Synchrony cards are able to add their OnePay cards by linking them through the same connection used for their existing Synchrony accounts.

    For those who only have a OnePay card and no other Synchrony accounts, adding the account to Quicken is not currently possible.

    Thanks again!
