ISHARES TR RUS 1000 GRW ETF Split 4 to 1, account now showing incorrect balances
On 4/29 we got a 4 to 1 Split transaction download in our Fidelity Account that threw everything off by quite a bit… It was followed by an addition of shares that REALLY threw the balance off…
Why does this keep happening? How do we correct this?
Last time I had to delete and re-create the Fidelity account and re-link it to get the transactions and balances correct again…

HOW did you record that split? Did you record it prior to the download?
What was downloaded … perhaps a "Shares Added" transaction?
Also note that, not infrequently, the quote resulting from a split sometimes mysteriously gets recorded prior to the split itself … which result in wacky valuations. The fix for such is to just delete (or correct) those incorrect quotes.

Both the "Split" and the "Shares Added" transactions were downloaded (we don't typically make any manual entries)… and the fund value went up nearly 30%… Would be nice, but clearly not accurate…
