Can I have both Online and Local backups at the same time and another question?
So, I've been toying with the idea of signing up for the online backup. However, I don't want to soley reley upon online…just in case. Will I still be able to use local/cloud backups at the same time? Also, I use Business and Personal. Do I have to sign up for online backup separately for each of the databases and will the backups be kept separate? Thanks for your advice.

You really should have two files. One for your personal activity and one for the HOA activity. Each file should be backed up.
I guess I don't understand this: "I couldn't run the business program and the personal program at the same time…"
The QB&P is one comprehensive program. Upgrading from a purely personal version of Quicken to the Business version only means that the program has "opened up" to you to make a distinction between personal and business activity, e.g., you're an independent contractor and want to take advantage of, say, the billing procedures in the business version, but that activity simply gets tacked on to all your other non-business data, "separated" internally as being "business" activity. When you open QB&P you can work on either side - personal or business - at the same time, you're simply making distinction between "this is the non-business side of my life" and "this is the business side of my life."
In order to hand over to another person only the "business" (HOA) activities that really should be in a separate data file. In that case you'd open up a file for you personal activities and when you're done you close that file. Then if you want to make some HOA entries, you wouldn't need to close the program, you'd simply need to open that separate HOA data file.

You can have as many backups of a data file as you want and put them where you want. If your business and personal data are all in one file - the typical usage - then everything gets backed up. It's really all one database.

My business file and personal files each have their own login and password. I upgraded from Quicken Deluxe classic when I became the treasurer for our HOA. I couldn't run the business program and the personal program at the same time so when I installed QB&P it automatically integrated my personal database. I'm assuming that at some time when I decide to hand over the reigns I should be able to copy the HOA database and login info to the new treasurer. Hopefully, this will not include my database by default. So, when they install QB&P and open the HOA database that is all they will see. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Thank you for your response. That's exactly how I have it set up. If I'm in my personal file and want to open up the "business" side I go into files and open the HOA file and login. It has its own QDF and the personal has it own. I would just give the new treasurer the HOA QDF file and login info. Thanks again for you speedy response.
