ETF split not updating number of shares held
ETF split 6 for 1 on April 21. I manually entered the stock split transaction, but Quicken is still showing the old number of shares, with the reduced share value after the split, making the total value of the holdings 1/6th what it should be. How do I fix that?

Seems like I had the same situation but only for a day. I manually entered a 6 for 1 split transaction for April 21, but the share count was not correct until a transaction was post by my brokerage on April 22, was downloaded, and was then matched my manual transaction. My guess is that the issue may be with your brokerage. Do you see the split when you log into your brokerage account?

@Feldgrep It sounds to me as if you may have a placeholder in the way, or you applied the split to the wrong security.
Make sure your preferences are set to show hidden transactions. Edit / Preferences / Investments — Check the Show hidden transactions option. If you see a placeholder on or about 4/21 for that security, delete it.
Sometimes a user can end up with two very similarly named securities. Make sure you selected the security you intended to.
You should see a clear impact of the StkSplit transaction similar to this where the Share balance went from 10 shares after the last transaction to 60 shares after the StkSplit:

Adding to what @q_lurker says,
To prevent rounding errors, the split should be entered as 6 for 1, not 1 for 0.1666667 as was downloaded by Vanguard.
Also there should be no Added transactions associated with the split. If an Added was downloaded, you should delete it.
