My only suggestion involves #1, do it monthly, waiting to do several months at once is a BIG TASK, but monthly is more manageable and not as big a headache.1 -

Have you tried tried unchecking both Date & Time, doing a backup and quitting Quicken and then restart and only check the Date box to see if that resets it properly?2
