How do you update the value of an asset manually?

Bill,
You can still add those values although it's a little more cumbersome to do so under QM2017. First, find the securities list under the Windows tab. Then find the security you want to update and double click it. Then add the security price information. It's not direct as it was under QM2007. Hope that helps.
I have several mutual funds with the same issue. I've asked that they allow manual price edits under the portfolio windows, but that functionality hasn't been added yet. While you are at it, you may want to add your VOTE to related IDEAS found on the List of Requests Related to Investments (Does not include Downloading Data or Reports; for those see List of Requests for Downloading Data into Quicken and List of Requests for Report Types ). Click on each underlined link, then follow the instructions to add your vote to more related ideas.Snoopy FC said:Bill,

I am missing something. The instructions above say "Then add the security price information." Where? How? I see no way to manually enter a new unit value (similar to share price) for my annuities.Snoopy FC said:Bill,

I've been looking for a solution to fix QM's mispricing of US Treasury Tips. Unless I'm mistaken this is not it? Is sound like this only works for assets that can't be downloaded and need to be manually updated?Snoopy FC said:Bill,
