I am new to Quicken MAC. I have been using Quicken PC. Are you able to add icons to the MAC version. I would like to add the backup icon.

Hi Ron..
In Quicken for Mac, the Backup is built into the program.
There really isn't another backup icon to add for Quicken for Mac.
Hope this information helps.

Can I add any icons?0

Hi Ron.
You can add the Quicken icon to your Dock and you can also add an alias to your Desktop.
If you need assistance with that, please let us know.

Hi Ron..
First things first.
In order to move the icon from your Applications folder to your Dock, you can click on the icon and drag it to the Dock:
Hope this helps.
I will have to look into the Emergency Records option. Are they files that you have had backed up just in case?
Let me know, many thanks.

Emergency Records is a Windows app software.
Quicken Mac has no such software.0 -
Thanks. I know about adding the Quicken icon. I was just wondering if there are othe icons that can be added to the Quicken program like in the PC version.
I am backed up...thanks for looking into the Emergency Records.0 -
Hi Ron.
That's the only icon that you need.. No need for other icons.
Hope this helps.

I am backed up...thanks for looking into the Emergency Records.
What you see is what you get.
There's not even back/forward buttons like in a browser window.
Makes going back and forth between screens really a pain.0 -
Not entirely accurate...QM2007 and earlier does have the Emergency Records app but unfortunately that has not been added back into QM2018...Emergency Records is a Windows app software.
Quicken Mac has no such software.
This may not be of much help if you do not have access to QM2007 but you can read the following FAQ:
