Why can't you go to the Calendar and enter a upcoming bill and have it show up in the account.

I have a Mac OS 10.13.5 and I'm running Quicken 2018 Version 5.6.3 (Build 56.22447.100) Why can't you go to the Calendar and enter a upcoming bill and have it show up in the account. Instead of going threw the account I would rather use the calendar to post my upcoming bills have them show up in Red until Paid then they go Green thats how the older Quicken use to work.

Unfortunately, that is not a feature that exists in QM2018. You can add your VOTE to 
Add ability to record scheduled transactions/bill reminders via the Calendar.

First, click on the underlined link above to go there, then click VOTE at the top of THAT page, so your will vote count for THIS feature and increase its visibility to the developers by seeking to have the features you need or desire end up in the latest version.

This idea will eventually be added to the 

• List of Requests for Data Entry and Usability Options and Features and the 
• 
  List of Requests for Bill Reminders (aka Scheduled Transactions) and Graph Features (aka Cash Flow Forecast or Projected Balance).
