This is irritating and time consuming in itself, but when I do this I felt the message “success” and then everything freezes and I can’t get into my file. Help!
"Success" message window won't go away (Q Windows 2018 R8.8 or higher only).
When you receive a 'success' message while signing in to your Quicken ID, please perform a Supervalidate file operation:
Press and hold the CTRL key and select File Menu -> File operations -> validate & repair.
Select "Supervalidate File".
Click OK and let it run.

Have you run a validate? Unless you added a file password, login requirements have not changed and may point to a file corruption issue.

Hi @jgenden ,
It is quite possible that your files in your Temp Folders, one in Windows and one in Local in your Windows ID has grown too large. Do you clean up your Hard Drive and Windows Registry, regularly or not?

You haven't disclosed any operating system or Quicken information.
And are you using more than one Quicken Data File?
