My broker download a reinvestment stock as 3 transactions.
1 a dividend transaction that adds the amount to cash
2 a withdraw transaction removing the dividend amount from cash
3 a Added transaction for the amount of shares purchased.
The added shares do not have a cost associated with it.
My other brokerage accounts downloads 1 transaction as a Reinvestment and the shares do have a cost associated with it.

If your broker does this consistently, I am afraid your only recourse is to work with their tech support to try to get them to fix their interface to Quicken.QWin Premier subscription0 -
