Downloading transactions from CD's
Wayne Daren
Two of my banks have been absorbed into other banks. Since then, i have been unable to set up downloads from within Quicken. I have verified the correct ID & password.
I have gone back and forth with the banks and Quicken help and both sides say the problem is on the other side. From what i can see, the problem may be the classification of CD's. But no one seems to have a solution.

Are you able to download chacking and savings accounts at these banks?
Have you successfully downloaded bank CDs in the past?
Generally bank CDs must be set up as bank accounts not as investments.

Hello Wayne,
What is the name of the bank that holds these CDs?
What was the name of the bank when this previously worked?
How long ago did this happen?
Please let us know!

As a test - just create a NEW Quicken account and walk thru the steps to access these accounts from.... ? using the exact same User ID / password you use to log into the bank and view these accounts - as mentioned above - these probably view as BANK accts..... at least for my ALLY - my checking, MM, CD all show up that way -
