Have the issues with Upgrade R19.44 corrected?

I just did an uninstall and reinstall of my Quicken Deluxe 2019, Build 27.1.14.23 after having issues after installing Update R 19.44. The program seems to be working normal now.
After doing One Step Updates from financial institutions I get a notice that "Updates Are Available" including R 19.44. Do I need to do these updates? If I do the updates, what are the chances I'll have the previous problems reoccur?

I would update to R18.16. That seems like the last stable release.

R19.50 is the most recent update out for limited release. It is suppose to address:- An issue where Quicken could be stuck on the Success page after signing in, in some use cases.

What problem were you having with R19.44?
Simply uninstalling and reinstalling Quicken, leaves the problems that were there, still there.
