There are many ways to exit Quicken. I usually press Alt + F4. You can also press Alt + Spacebar and the X or Alt + F and then X. Using the mouse, you can select File > Exit, left-click on the applications title bar X icon, or the click on the application icon in the application title and select Exit. You may also initiate a shutdown of an application from the task bar or using the Task Manager.
There are also many ways to start Quicken. I usually press the Windows key followed by a Q and Enter. Using the mouse, you may select the qw.exe program or shortcut to the program or the data file or a shortcut to the datafile you'd like to open.5
