Register report new problem

I did - Register report then accounts, then Categories, I picked WORK (it has sub topics). Pushed the button to see report - NOTHING AT ALL-BLANK. What is going on? What am I doing wrong? Send help! Thank you.

    I suspect you may have set the report's filters such that there were no transactions that matched all of the criteria.

    For example check the date range to make sure there are transactions for that category in the range you have chosen.

    Hi! I checked the date range, looked at the criteria, but in "find" I can see all of the transactions I need. However, "Find" does not do the adding. What do I try next, in between program crashes?
